The *Kona Billfisher* is not a typical timeshare resort in that primary occupancy, during many of the months, is by owners who spend a full month or more in their units. There are a significant number of owners that return every year (some in excess of 20 years) and thus the feeling of family pervades. Visitors are welcomed warmly, and as a result, many return year after year, some eventually becoming owners themselves!
