About RCI Points
RCI Points are transferred as a perpetual ownership (never expires) attached to a home resort. You can use the deeded unit and week without paying an RCI exchange fee; or you have the option to use the RCI points at any other time and resort.
As an RCI Points owner, your points will be issued to you on the first day of your Effective Month of every use year. The effective month is determined by the date the RCI Points account is transferred to you, usually 1 month after purchase. You can borrow points from the upcoming year. You can roll over your points for up to Two years.
You may always borrow points from the following year in order to accommodate a larger unit or a higher rated resort. You have up to two years to combine or use your points at any Gold Crown or Silver Crown rated resorts. You may reserve any week at any RCI affiliated points resort. Reservations are first come, first serve. RCI charges $39 for one night, $59 for two nights, $79 for three nights, $89 for four nights, $99 for five nights, $109 for six nights and $124 for seven nights. Your annual RCI point’s membership dues are $124 and are paid directly to RCI.
If you choose not to participate in the points program, you may cancel your membership and this ownership will convert back to the deeded ownership at the home resort.
If you don’t like to plan but enjoy being spontaneous, you can use 9,000 or less RCI points to book a seven day vacation at any of your favorite resorts within a 45 day reservation prior to arrival and a small RCI exchange fee. Please remember reservations are first come, first serve.
With RCI Points you have the flexibility to:
- Return to your home week at no cost.
- Holiday at your home resort at different times of the year, in different unit types.
- Holiday within your home group of resorts.
- Holiday at RCI Points resorts.
- Holiday at RCI Weeks resorts (formerly the RCI Exchange Program).
